Empowering Hygiene Independence
At Clean + Comfort, our mission is simple — to help visual learners of all ages build independence, confidence, and life skills through accessible hygiene tools and step-by-step support.
My Story
When I created my first social story on how to shower, I knew I needed more than written steps to help Loukas accomplish his goal. I had just mastered potty training after years of trial and error, homemade visual supports, and adaptive tools, and I was going to have to get creative again.
What followed was a deep dive into the world of shower products, visual schedules, and sensory supports. Many products were expensive, looked overly clinical, or simply didn’t solve the challenges our family faced.
I wanted more for my son. I wanted tools that were practical, visually appealing, and designed to build real independence.
So I decided to create them myself.
Years later, that journey became Clean + Comfort—a company dedicated to helping individuals build hygiene skills with greater confidence and independence.
Our Mission
At Clean + Comfort, we believe in fostering independence and creating opportunity. Our mission is to bring hygiene independence to all children and young adults through supports, tools, and aids. We believe mastering hygiene not only expands opportunities for the future – it also helps parents and caregivers navigate some of the hardest tasks to master. To bring our mission full circle, we are thoughtfully partnering with companies that provide opportunities for special needs adults in the workforce. We believe our company has the unique opportunity to help children master their goals while supporting special needs adults as they achieve their dream of actively participating in the workforce.
Our Ask
Every child learns differently — and we believe support tools should reflect that. Many of our products are designed, adapted, or refined through real feedback from families, therapists, educators, and caregivers.
